Hey Gang, hope everyone is enjoying the weekend so far. In our little part of the world, it's blue blazing cold. We even had snow flurries today. Hello, Where is Spring? Am I the only one craving warm and sunny weather?
It's been a very quiet day around here. I slept on the couch last night and didn't sleep well at all so I was up fairly early today. I think it was about 9:00 when I gave up and just got up for the day. My back was killing me at that point & I just couldn't get comfortable no matter how hard I tried. The kids slept quite a bit later though so I just played online and let them sleep. It was very quiet and sometimes I really enjoy an hour or so of peace and quiet before the chaos of the day hits.
Anika cleaned up as soon as she got out of bed and went with my Mom for the day. Mom had to go to the next town over to put some money in the bank. While they were out, they had breakfast at Bob Evans and did a little shopping. Anika ended up coming home with new Foundation, Powders, Facial Cleansing Stuff, A pair of Shorts and some Makeup Wedges. My Mom absolutely spoils her rotten.
I ran to town pretty early this morning to grab some stuff from the store. I wasn't gone too awfully long and Hubby kept the Little One's for me. It's always much quicker when I don't have to drag them in and out of the car. When I got home I put away groceries and fixed Hubby & Little Man a pizza for lunch. After they ate Hubby ran to town to get his vehicle lined up. It was in bad shape. He came home and picked up Ax & they went on a hunt for tires for Hubby's truck. Unfortunately, they had no luck.
I managed to straighten up the kitchen today and do a few loads of laundry but that was about it. I pretty much sat in front of the computer the biggest part of the day. Yep, totally unproductive I know. This new medicine they have me on though makes me want to just sit. It's definitely not a good thing in my opinion. I'm going to talk to them about it when I go back next week.
Anika has a friend over tonight. They pleaded for me to take them to town to get stuff to make cookies so after I got supper cooked I did. By the way we had Homemade Soup for dinner & it was delicious. Back to the cookies though, they never got made. The girls are already in the bed asleep and we have NO COOKIES!!! I guess I'll have to fix them myself if I want them. I can't believe they are already asleep at midnight. They normally stay up all night long but apparently tonight they were tired.
Hubby is still out in the garage. I'm going to have to go run him in soon. He's spent his entire evening working on putting doors on our Side by Side. Tomorrow morning my two littlest ones are going with Mom and Dad to Church. Mom is teaching Children's Church so hopefully they will behave for her. Hubby and I are going to take Anika and her friend Brooke riding. We are hoping to get in a 1/2 way descent trip!
With that said I guess I should wrap it up! I'm getting tired myself and still have to pick up the house a bit before bed.

Yeah, where is the spring? I thought the groundhog saw his shadow and we were going to have an early spring. It's 30* here this morning. That doesn't feel like spring to me.
ReplyDeleteI have had medication that makes me just want to sit. No energy. I don't like feeling that way. You definitely need to talk to your doctor.

It felt so cold here yesterday! All week long we have had snow or flurries and it's stayed just barely above freezing and it never felt too horrible. But yesterday when it was actually sunny and about the same temperature it was so cold! I so ready for spring!
