Daybook Entry

Tuesday has came and is almost gone now, the days seem to fly by. It's been a good day here in Newsome Land, I definitely can't complain. Since I pretty much have a pictureless post for you, I thought I'd just do a Daybook Entry and share. Some days are very photo worthy and others aren't. I guess that is just the way it is in the life of a Stay at Home Mommy. It's okay though, I kind of like this life of mine.

For Today- March 05, 2013

Outside My Window: The wind has finally died down. There for a bit, I thought we were going to get blown away. All the wind is just pushing in the cold front for tonight though. We are supposed to have 1-3 inches of snow by morning. Geeze, I wish Spring would hurry on up. I'm keeping my eye on the weekend though, the temps are supposed to be in the 60's then. Now that I can handle!

I am Thinking: About volunteering 2 days a week at our local Headstart. I'd be volunteering in my Aunt's classroom. It would give me somewhere to go 2 days a week and I think that would be good for me. My mom has offered to watch my two Little One's and it would only be 4 hours per day. I know it sounds crazy but right now I just need to get in some me time. Next year I could go on the Sub list and eventually possibly land a full time job with the Headstart. Since Ax will be in Headstart next year that would be perfect and Little Lee can start when she turns 3. I'm not sure yet but as you know I've been wanting to do at Home Daycare and that didn't work out. I'm just thinking maybe God put this opportunity out there for me.

I am Thankful: Axle is pretty much potty trained now. He has an accident on occasion but for the most part I have a potty trained 2 year old! It makes going places so much easier.

In the Kitchen: Is some Apples and Caramel Dip that I plan on having for a late night snack here in a few. Doesn't that sound yummy?

I am Wearing: A nightgown, it's almost midnight! I did dress up earlier today though 

I am Creating: Nothing at this very moment. That is a first for me

I am Going: To visit a Chiropractor very soon. My neck and shoulder about kills me from a car accident I was in. My doctor swears it will help. I figure it can't hurt!

I am Wondering: If Axle will do better next week at Story Time. We got dressed and drove all the way up there today & then he threw a fit and refused to get out of the car. It kind of shocked me because he loved Story Time and Play Group last week. This week was their Dr. Seuss party and he even had his cute Cat in the Hat Shirt on. I was so disappointed. Hopefully next week he will do better. I'm definitely going to keep trying. He really needs the interaction!

I am Reading: Information on learning how to coupon. It intrigues me but the more I read the more work it seems. Not sure if I'm ready to dedicate that much time and energy on it.

I am Hoping: My Little Man goes to sleep very shortly. He is really getting whiny and he's beginning to drive me crazy!

I am Looking Forward To: Warm Weather and Sunshine....for real!

I am Learning: To just live my life one day at a time. Life never goes as planned so there is no reason to plan.

Around the House: I've straightened up, done laundry, put away laundry and changed all the bedding. Things are actually fairly tidy. I hope to start painting my kitchen sometime next week maybe. My Mom, Anika and I have some big makeover plans :)

I am Pondering: On a possible quick weekend getaway through Anika's Spring Break. It sounds like lots of fun to me. Now if I can just figure out how to finance it.

One of my Favorite Things for Today: Listening to Annalee cackle out laughing. She thinks everything is so funny. I love that sweet laugh :)

A few Plans for the rest of the Week: Tomorrow Anika has a Counseling Appointment and we will probably grab some dinner while we are out. Thursday I may plan on volunteering at the school and Friday I have no plans really as of yet but you never know, we might get into something!

Something I want to Share: These boots, I'm dying to buy them but really, I'll probably never wear them.

Well friends, that is pretty much my Tuesday thoughts. I'm going to grab a snack, list a few items on Ebay & wait on the Hubby to get home from work. Tomorrow I'll be dealing with cold and snow, no fun! Hope you and yours is having a great week so far. Keep your eye on the weekend, it will be here soon.
